Our director, Stewart takes care of a lot of our construction work personally. So, he’s on-site for most of the build. He’s committed to keeping you in the loop at every stage. He’ll always take the time to run you through the project and talk through any of those niggling concerns you might have.
Due to his vast experience in the industry, Stew can come up with solutions and alternatives other builders might not think of, and he can bring your interior designers’ ideas to life.

SBF Design & Construct is a family-owned and run business, founded by our director Stew, his wife Chantelle, and their three children. You might be wondering how a family-owned and run business can take care of so many different facets of your build.
Architectural drafting
Stewart started his architectural drafting career working on the national showroom rollout for Kleenmaid before joining the Buchan Group Architects in Brisbane.
Dream builder
Stew always had the dream to become a builder, so he completed his carpentry apprenticeship, and spent the next few years working as site foreman, completing some amazing high-end builds and boutique renovations.
Builder’s licence
Stew then went on to gain his builders licence, and he’s now a qualified architectural draftsman, carpenter and builder. The absolute dream combination that ensures seamless transitions between professional services and trades!
